Donna Morley, resident of Massapequa Donna Morley (nee Mercurio) of Massapequa, died February 26, 2005. She was 49 years old. Mrs. Morley was a dedicated staff member for over 20 years of South Shore Eye Care in Wantagh, most recently working as a surgical coordinator. Survivors include her husband Scott Morley; her children Griffith P. and A.J.; her parents Sam and Patricia Mercurio of Massapequa; her mother-in-law Bobbie Morley of Cooperstown; her brother Michael Mercurio and his wife JoAnn of Massapequa and her sister Kathi Vigotty and her husband Jimi of Bellvue, Nebraska. Also surviving are six nieces and one nephew, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A funeral service was said at Massapequa Funeral Home, South Chapel, 4980 Merrick Rd., Massapequa Park, Monday, February 28, 2005. A Mass of Christian Burial was said at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church Tuesday, March 1, 2005. Interment followed in Grace Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Donna Morley Science Foundation, c/o Michael Mercurio, 304 Sunset Blvd., Massapequa, NY 11758.
