Elizabeth F. Hughes Elizabeth F. Hughes (nee Scharnberger-Igoe) of Massapequa, died March 17, 2005. Mrs. Hughes is predeceased by her husband Thomas. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Thomas and Eileen Kerry, Barbara and Garrett and Margaret; her grandchildren Chet, Gregory, Shannon, Kelly, Ryan, Brittany and Jennifer. Mrs. Hughes reposed at Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Home, 603 Wantagh Ave., Wantagh. A funeral mass was said Monday, March 21, 2005 at St. James R.C. Church, Seaford. Interment was in Long Island National Cemetery at Calverton.
