on Maria Regina School

On March 9, 10 and 11 Maria Regina Elementary School, Seaford, put on the play Annie, Jr. Under the direction of Brian Stalter, a few teachers and parent volunteers, over 150 children sang, danced and acted for the audience. The ensemble performed a tribute to Broadway, including the songs Mamma Mia and One from A Chorus Line.

The Annie cast performed well-known songs from Annie including Hard-Knock Life, Easy Street, Never Fully Dressed and Tomorrow. Mary Reid was Annie, Ariyelle Twiggs was Grace Farrell and Andrew Balzafiore was Daddy Warbucks.

Full-color Playbills were given out to the audience and the cast received t-shirts and a cast party catered by Sebastianos. The party was held at the Knights of Columbus Memorare Council and the children enjoyed dancing and singing to their favorite songs.
