The Vytra Cup has become a premier scouting opportunity for area college programs, and this year’s game takes on added significance as a talent showcase because two local colleges, Briarcliff College (Bethpage) and SUNY Farmingdale, inaugurated hockey programs in the 2004-2005 season.
