Massapequa HS graduate named Cross Country Runner of the Year Patrick Brandon of Massapequa was recently named the Freshman Cross Country Runner of theYear at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore Maryland. Patrick, a member of both the Cross Country and Track and Field teams also received All Regional Honors for the Cross Country season. Pat finished first for the Johns Hopkins Cross Country team in both the Conference and Regional Championship Meets this past fall. Pat is the son of Linda and Paul Brandon and is studying Mechanical Engineering at Johns Hopkins. He is a 2004 graduate of Massapequa High School and was a four year Varsity runner with the Massapequa High School Track Program.
