Lutheran golf outing and dinner takes place August 9
     The St. David’s Lutheran Church’s preschool teachers, office personnel, friends and parents of students will play in the annual golf outing and dinner on Aug. 9. Thisyear’s fundraising outing will be played a the North Shore Tow­ers Country Club in Floral Park. Theannual golf outing is being sponsoring by the Lutheran Schools Association (LSA).

Babylon High School to hold all classes reunion September 16
     A committee of classmates from the Babylon High School Class of 1950, which celebrates its 60th year this year, is planning an all classes reunion. Theevent will be held at the Venetian Yacht Club, located next to the Babylon Vil­lage dock, Thurs. Sept. 16, 7 to 11:30 p.m. and includes a sit-down dinner and open bar for $50 each.

Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah class offered at Temple B’nai Torah
     Beginning in fall, 2010, and culminating in a celebratory Shabbat service in spring, 2012, members of Temple B’nai Torah of Wantagh will have the opportunity to study Jewish heritage in a new, meaningful, and profound manner.
