•The popular Writing Our Stories writing group for senior citizens will meet on Thursdays, March 23, April 6, April 27 and May 11, 1 p.m. in the meeting room of the library. Learn to write your memoirs in a fun, non-critical atmosphere.

•Dr. Martin Haas of Adelphi University, department of History, will discuss the controversial new Reagan Biography, Dutch, A Memoir of Ronald Reagan by Edmund Morris, Tuesday, March 28, 8 p.m.

•Award-winning artist, Beth S. Goldberg, will present a hands on art workshop, Mondrian and Modern Art, Tuesday, March 28, 1 p.m. Piet Mondrian was the most influential Dutch artist of the twentieth century, whose mystical pursuit of the absolute was expressed in geometric abstraction and embodied in horizontal and vertical lines. Preregistration is required as class size will be limited.
