Mayor Camillo Giannattasio recently announced the formation of Founders Day in the Village of Massapequa Park.

Founders Day will take place October 22, and will include a parade to kick off the events of the day. Village Hall will be transformed into a museum citing Village history and events throughout the years.

Several dedications and history markers will take place throughout the Village.

The organizing committee is looking for any historical facts, information or photos that residents may wish to contribute. A "Memory" is as good as any written document. If you or a family member were ever elected or served on any of the Village Boards or committees the Village would very much like to identify you.
