The new roof installation at Old Grace Church is nearing completion. Nassau County Legislator Peter J. Schmitt joined with his fellow trustees of the Historical Society of the Massapequas to brief State Senator Chuck Fuschillo on the progress of the new roof for the Massapequa landmark. The church, the headquarters of the Historical Society, was in dire need of a new roof. Legislator Schmitt involved State Senator Fuschillo and thanks to a grant that Fuschillo secured for the Society the roof is now in place. "A new roof was way beyond the resources of the Historical Society," said Legislator Schmitt. "Chuck Fuschillo was there for Massapequa when we needed him, and on behalf of all of our residents, we say thank you Senator Fuschillo."
