A public hearing on the Massapequa School District’s Emergency Management plan will be held at the Board of Education’s regular meeting, Thursday, April 5, 8 p.m. in the board room. All residents are welcome to ask questions and provide feedback on the plan at that meeting.

The plan was drawn up in accordance with the New York State Safe Schools Against Violence in Education Act. The goal of the legislation is to improve school safety through codification of many existing regulatory requirements on safe schools. For more information call the district at 516-797-6160.
