The Department of Agriculture has found the presence of the Asian Longhorned Beetle in an area in Massapequa Park and it has become necessary to treat the trees.

To provide residents with information about the Beetle and the treatment of trees, Mayor James Altadonna has arranged for Joseph Gittlemen, program director, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Department of Agriculture, and his staff, to speak to residents on Tuesday, April 17, 7 p.m. in Village Hall. 151 Front St., Massapequa Park.
