Massapequan selected as a dancer for world-famous David Copperfield

Massapequa Park’s own Gina Mulay has been selected as a dancer and assistant for the world-famous illusionist David Copperfield.

Mulay graduated from Massapequa High School in 1999, where she was captain of the Chiefettes kickline. For the past two years she has attended Nassau Community college as a dance major.

She has been taking dance lessons since she was four years old. For the past eight years she has been learning her trade at Studio D Dance Center in Bellmore, where she also has been teaching dance for four years. Mulay, only 19, has also danced professionally with Darrin Henson, dancer and choreographer for the groups N’Sync and The Backstreet Boys and has modeled for the Tommy Hilfiger clothing line.

This budding starlet has begun a worldwide tour with the David Copperfield show as of March 8. She will be touring all major cities in the United States including Las Vegas and Atlantic City. The show will also be visiting China, Japan, Mexico, Hawaii and Europe.
