On August 1, Rebecca J. Fletcher joined the Temple Judea community as its new cantor. "Cantor Fletcher is an extremely bright and energetic young woman, full of life and eager to join our community in partnership with Rabbi Kramer and the lay leadership," said a Temple spokesman. In May , Fletcher completed her masters of sacred music at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) and was invested as a Reform cantor. "Music is the spiritual focal point of our worship. Cantor Fletcher adds a wonderful dimension to our services."
