•The Children’s Room of the Central Avenue Library will host a preschool Story Time, Thursday, November 14, 10:30 a.m. No registration is required. The program is for children ages four to five who can sit by themselves.

•The Harbor Lane Library will host a program presented by local travel agent and tourist Carol Larocca as she shares her experiences and artifacts from her African safari Wednesday, November 20, 2 p.m.

•The poetry club will be meeting Wednesday’s November 13 and December 11, 7 to 9 p.m. All poets are encouraged to come prepared to read what they have written and to appreciate the work of others.

•On Thursday, November 14, 7:30 p.m. a program entitled Smart Women Finish Rich will be presented. It is based on the book by David Bach. Attendees will learn how to: put your money where your values are, figure out where you stand financially, discover the power of the Latte Factor, build financial "baskets" for your retirement, your dreams and much more. Seating is first come, first served.
