	New York State Assemblyman Steve Labriola recently visited with 200 Plainedge seniors at a recent meeting of their group.  Assemblyman Labriola discussed various state programs that assist seniors as they relate to taxes, healthcare and insurance. "Too many of our seniors don't put to use the programs that were created especially for them.  Whether it be taxes, health or insurance, there are programs available for the senior citizens of our community designed to help them improve their quality of life," said Assemblyman Labriola. 	Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto, back row, third from left, and Councilman Anthony D. Macagnone, back, second from right, commend local children on their participation in the 10th annual Massapequa Kiwanis Foundation “Kids Day” at Birch Lane Elementary School in Massapequa.  The event featured free photo identification and fingerprinting kits for children and their parents.  There were also interactive exhibits and displays by the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Borders and and other groups.  Science demonstrations were sponsored by the Mad Scientists from the New York Hall of Science.  Also on hand were Oyster Bay Town Councilman Joe Muscarella representative Rose Walker, back, second from left; Statement Assemblyman Steve Labriola, back right; County Legislator Peter Schmitt, back, fourth from right; and Village of Massapequa Park Trustee Jeffrey Pravato, back, left.
