	Commissioner Frank A. Nocerino, shown left, North Massapequa Fire District, president of the Association of Fire Districts State of New York, presented the State's Hero's Award to U.S. Senator Charles "Chuck" Schumer at the Association's annual fall workshop and seminar held at the Nevele Hotel in Ellenville, New York. 	Senator Schumer was the keynote speaker at the Association's annual workshop which was attended by over 1,000 fire district officers throughout the entire state.  This was only the second time in the 60 year history of the State Association that this award has been made.  The Senator received a standing ovation when he was introduced by President Nocerino.  Senator Schumer informed the fire district officers that federal grant money was available and he assured the fire district officials that he and his staff would be more than willing to assist the fire districts in obtaining federal funds to assist them in their life saving work. Mangano, third from left, presented a grand opening celebratory citation to Massapequa Medical Arts building owners of Michael Puntillo Sr., Michael Puntillo Jr. and Robert Pascucci.  Massapequa medical Arts Building is located on Hicksville Road, Plainedge.  Legislator Mangano congratulated the owners for their extensive building improvements. Nassau County Legislator Edward P.
