Vale of Tears, new controversial book on the war against terrorism

Vale of Tears, a controversial book by author and congressman Peter King, was discussed on Long Island at the Chapter One bookstore in Oceanside on March 19.

In the book, Congressman King writes about a subject that he is obviously well-versed on. The war on terrorism is being fought on many layers throughout the world and King tells you all about it. He brings the fear of terrorism right to Nassau County in his book, as he describes not only what occurred in New York and Washington during September 11 and after, but the possibility of future terrorism not just in New York City, but that terrorists have come out to the Island.

The book jumps between the past dealing with 9/11 and its horrible aftermath and the future where terrorists are still keeping New York and the world on its toes.

Other books by Mr. King are Deliver Us From Evil and Terrible Beauty.
