Venditto brings Town government to local communities
Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto announced that the Traveling Town Hall, a mobile facility with the ability to bring information and assistance directly to residents in their home communities, will be traveling to several different locations within the Town this April.
"In an ongoing effort to make Town government more accessible to our residents, I am happy to announce that the Traveling Town Hall will, once again, be visiting our local communities," Supervisor Venditto said. "During the facility’s visit to a nearby community, any residents who require assistance or have a question about Town government can come by and have their questions answered and concerns addressed."
The Supervisor noted that his main goal in developing the Traveling Town Hall was to bring Town government closer to residents. "It is vital to ensure that government is accessible to the people," Supervisor Venditto stated. "The Traveling Town Hall concept makes this possible because it is easy and convenient for residents to reach."
The Traveling Town Hall will be coming to the following locations this April:
Massapequa - Monday, April 11, Massapequa Rail Road, Broadway and Sunrise Highway, Massapequa, 3 to 7 p.m. and Farmingdale – Tuesday, April 12, Farmingdale Village Hall, Municipal Lot #4 (off Main Street), 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
