John J. Marchesano, of Farmingdale, died March 19, 2005.

Mr. Marchesano was a veteran of World War II. He worked over 60 years in the trucking and building materials industry and was a prominent leader and innovator in his field.

Surviving Mr. Marchesano are his wife Carmela; his daughter Dr. Anne Marchesano-Manduca and her husband Dr. Bruno Manduca; his stepchildren Connie and Tony Stabile; his grandchildren Gabriella, Alexander, Lisa and Gina; his sister Ernestine Turis and brother Michael Marchesano.

Mr. Marchesano reposed at the Perry Funeral Home, 118 Union Ave., Lynbrook.
