Colleen Carpenter has recently achieved recognition from the academic community.

Carpenter is a 1999 graduate of Massapequa High School. Currently she is employed by Forest Laboratories and is a student at the State University of New York at Farmingdale majoring in business administration. On March 11, she was inducted into the International Business Honor Society, Alpha Beta Gamma Zeta Chapter. The event was held at the Galaxie Catering facility in Lindenhurst. In April she participated in the Alpha Beta Gamma Leadership Conference in Biloxi, Mississippi. She has been further acknowledged by another organization.

Farmingdale State University has selected Carpenter to be included in the 2005 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. This organization has tracked the academic and community accomplishments of top college and university students for the past 70 years. Carpenter has been greatly honored to be included in this publication in addition to her membership in Alpha Beta Gamma.
