NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provision of the Village of New York, that a Public Hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals in the Incorporated Village of Massapequa Park on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at 8:00 PM in the Village Hall, 151 Front Street, Massapequa Park, New York, for the following purposes:

Case No. 3497 To consider the application of Mr. & Mrs. Gary Rine, 179 Pacific Street, Massapequa Park, NY for a variance to construct a portico wider than the 8’ allowed. Section 345-30D2 and a variance to remodel the existing roof on a detached garage without the required 2’ minimum side yard. Section 345-32D

Case No 3498 To consider the application of Mr. and Mrs. Welch, 241 Koehl Street, Massapequa park, NY for a variance to construct a one-story front addition on an existing non-conforming house without the required 5’ side yard and 25’ minimum front yard setback. Sections 345A(1) a and 345-31 (c) 1; and a variance to maintain an existing shed over the allowed 9’ high. Section 345-42D and over the allowed 120 sq. ft.; Section 345-43 A. Case NO 3499 To consider the application of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mauro, 46 Seventh Avenue, Massapequa Park, NY for a variance to install a 6’ solid PVC fence in the required front yard starting at the Southeast corner of the house going to the East property line then along the East property line South to the South property line then along the South property line West to the West property line North to a point behind existing house and then East to the existing house, Section 345-40A, B; and a variance to maintain an existing hot tub without the required 5’ rear yard. Case No. 3501 To consider the application of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Peranzo, 56 First Avenue, Massapequa Park, NY for a variance to construct a portico wider than the allowed 8’. Section 345-30(D)2.

Case No 3502 To consider the application of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Szal, 220 Lindenbergh Street, Massapequa Park, NY for a variance to construct a wrap-around porch. Section 345-30D(2).

Case No 3503 To consider the application of Mr. and Mrs Gerard Mucaria, 7 First Avenue, Massapequa Park, NY for a variance to construct a 6’ PVC fence in the required second front yard more than the allowed 12’. Section 345-40 A & B; and a variance to maintain an existing shed in the required second front yard. Section 345-30 D. (Section 53, Block 66, Lot(s) 56)

Case No 3504 To consider the application of Mr. and Mrs Michael Isolano, 92 Garfield Street, Massapequa Park, NY for a variance to install a 4’ solid PVC fence in the front yard setback and a variance to install a 4’ open picket fence in the 35’ triangle. Section 345-90AB. (Section 48, Block 396, Lot(s) 2178)

Case No 3505 To consider the application of Mr. and Mrs Anthony Minichini, 351 Pacific Street, Massapequa Park, NY for a variance to construct a 5’ solid PVC fence in the second required front yard on a corner lot where a variance has already been granted for an addition in front yard. Section 345-40(A) & (B).
