James B. O’Connor, of Massapequa Park, died May 16, 2005. He was born in County Sligo, Ireland, June 8, 1915.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Ann (nee Peck) and his children and their spouses, Alice Anne Reilly and her husband Dennis, Nancy Colello and her husband Thomas and Patrick O’Connor and his wife Dawn. Also surviving are his grandchildren Mathew, Daniel and Rebecca Reilly; Thomas, and Evan Colello and Brendan O’Connor and four sisters and one brother. His son James B. Jr. predeceased him.

Mr. O’Connor reposed at the James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa. A funeral mass was said Thursday, May 19, 2005 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church. Interment was in St. Charles Cemetery. Memorial donations to L.I. Alzheimer’s Association, Broadlawn Manor Nursing Home or Good Shepherd Hospice would be appreciated.
