Eulogio "Lind" Ortiz, of Massapequa Park, died April 29, 2005. He was 85 years old.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Carol; his daughter Rose Cahill and her husband Joe; his grandchildren Joseph and Crystal; his sister Irma and his nephews Orlando and Lind. His son, Lind predeceased him.

Mr. Ortiz reposed at the Massapequa Funeral Home, North Chapel, 1050 Park Blvd., Massapequa Park. A Mass of Christian Burial was said Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church. Interment followed in North Babylon Cemetery.
