Fundraiser raises funds for breast cancer
Josephine Esposito is shown presenting a mock check in the amount of $5,113 to Lorraine Pace, representing funds raised in memory of Josephine Guido and Pauline Boardman. The fundraiser, a Halloween dinner dance held last October was organized by Josephine and David Esposito and feature buffet dinner, dancing, best costume prizes and door prizes. The event brought together a group of 55 family members and friends to remember the women who succumbed to breast cancer and raise funds in their memory to assist Breast Cancer Help, Inc. and its Long Island Cancer Help and Wellness Center in their on-going endeavor to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer, promote education towards early detection and provide support services to breast cancer patients and survivors.
