Nassau County Legislator Peter J. Schmitt, the Republican Delegation Leader of the Legislature, was the guest speaker at Mrs. Noel Hauser’s contemporary issues classes at Massapequa High School. Schmitt met with both classes and explained the workings of the Nassau Legislature and his dual role as both local Legislator representing the Massapequas and as Republican Delegation Leader. “Following the lecture, there was a spirited question and answer session,” said Schmitt. “I found the session interesting and informative, and I learned a lot from the students' questions.”
