Angela M. DiTrani, of Massapequa, a senior majoring in chemical engineering at Syracuse University, has been selected as a college marshal for the University’s L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer. College marshals are selected annually by each of Syracuse University’s 11 schools and colleges on the basis of academic achievement, involvement in student organizations and campus and community service.

Branden R. Vuolo, of Massapequa, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at the State University of New York at Oswego where he is a freshman.

Janessa Myers, of North Massapequa, was named to the dean’s list at Lasell College, Newton, Massachusetts, for the fall 2005 semester. She is a member of the class of 2008 and is majoring in fashion and retail merchandising.

Robert J. Bencivenga of Massapequa, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2005 semester at the State University of New York College at Cortland. He is a biology major p r e c h i r o p r a c t o r. Bencivenga is a 2005 graduate of Massapequa High School.

Adam Gottlieb, of Massapequa, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2005 semester at the State University of New York College at Cortland. He is a biomedical sciences major. Gottlieb is a 2005 graduate of Massapequa High School.

Michael Santoro, of Massapequa, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2005 semester at the State University of New York College at Cortland where he is studying to be a physical education teacher. Santoro is a 2005 graduate of Massapequa High School and the son of JoAnn and Tony Santoro.

Jillian Duffy, a sophomore at Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pennsylvania, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2005 semester. She is majoring in business administration and minoring in accounting. Duffy is a graduate of Massapequa High School and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Duffy of Massapequa.

Aleka Dimos, of Massapequa Park, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2005 semester at Stonehill College, Easton, Massachusetts. She is a member of the class of 2008.

Matthew Levine, of Massapequa Park, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2005 semester at George Mason University, Honors Program in General Education, Fairfax, Virginia. He is the son of Rosanne and Laban Levine.

Alison Klein, of Farmingdale, was named to the dean’s list at Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia, for the fall 2005 semester.

The following students enrolled in the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York, were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2005 semester: Michael Levy, of North Massapequa, a senior majoring in accounting and finance; Lauren Russ, of Massapequa, a senior majoring in accounting and finance and Jesse Pafundi, a junior majoring in accounting. Alyson Feldman, of Massapequa Park, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2005 at the College of Human Services and Health Professions at Syracuse University. Jennifer Gunn, of Massapequa Park, a sophomore majoring in arts and sciences and Sarah Klinder, of Massapequa Park, a freshman majoring in biology were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2005 at Syracuse University College of Arts and Sciences.
