Horace H. Gridley, of Massapequa Park, died April 30, 2006. He was 87 years old.

Mr. Gridley was a longtime teacher at Levittown Memorial High School. He was an avid bowler and golfer.

Mr. Gridley is predeceased by his wife Aldeane. Survivors include his sons Thomas and his wife Christine and James and his wife Patty; his grandsons Jonathan and Christopher.

Mr. Gridley reposed at the Massapequa Funeral Home Inc., 1050 Park Blvd., Massapequa Park. A funeral mass was said Friday, May 5, 2006 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church, Lindenhurst. Interment was in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Oneida, New York.
