Several weeks ago, we asked our readers to let us know what they thought about the current controversy about illegal immigration. Their responses continue to come in.

It seems that both Schumer and Clinton have forgotten that we were hit, not once(1993) but again on 9/11. To have open borders, will not only let the Mexicans cross over, but terrorists attack us again. I agree with Mr.Howell. Let's put the fire under Bush, Clinton and Schumer and all who have forgotten. As one who comes from Amityville, we as former New Yorkers and those who still live in New York, should fight back and stand up!
