Oyster Bay Town Councilman Joe Muscarella reminds residents that the Town sanitation and S.O.R.T. recycling collection schedules will be modified in observance of the Tuesday, July 4th, Independence Day holiday.

"On July 4th, there will be no sanitation or S.O.R.T. collection," Councilman Muscarella stated. "Residents who normally receive sanitation collection on Tuesday will receive pickup on Wednesday, July 5, while Tuesday S.O.R.T. customers will receive a special collection on Saturday, July 8."

All Town offices will be closed on July 4, but all beaches, parks and pools will be open.
