Nassau County Executive Thomas R. The Town of Oyster Bay's Music Under the Stars summer programs begin July 5 with a performance by the Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra at 8 p.m., at Stillwell Woods Park in Syosset.

On Thursday, July 6, Phil Costa & the Something special Big Band appears at JFK Middle School in Bethpage at 7 p.m. and on Friday, July 7. Music for all Ages will be presented at Tappen Beach in Glenwood Landing. Show time is 8 p.m., For more info., call 797-7900.

Oyster Bay Town Clerk Steve Labriola was recently invited to speak at Berner Middle School in Massapequa as part of the school's assembly on government.
