Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi was happy to honor Ronnett Faison of Massapequa at the Nassau County Service Awards Ceremony recently for her many years of valuable service to Nassau County's Department of Social Services. The Town of Oyster Bay's Music Under the Stars summer programs begin July 5 with a performance by the Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra at 8 p.m., at Stillwell Woods Park in Syosset.

On Thursday, July 6, Phil Costa & the Something special Big Band appears at JFK Middle School in Bethpage at 7 p.m. and on Friday, July 7. Music for all Ages will be presented at Tappen Beach in Glenwood Landing. Show time is 8 p.m., For more info., call 797-7900.
