Sheila Marie Bradbury, who lived in both Massapequa Park and Amityville, died April 27, 2006 at Winthrop Hospital in Mineola. She was 65 years old.

Born April 12, 1941 in Cambria Heights, New York to Bartholomew and Helen (Walsh) Fogarty, she later married and raised her family in Massapequa Park. After her husband died in 2002, she moved to nearby Amityville.

For 19 years, she worked as a bookkeeper at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church where she was also a parishioner. In her spare time she loved to Irish dance and spend time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Bradbury leaves behind her children: Kathleen Cleary and her husband Brian of East Northport, Dennis and his wife Christine of Massapequa Park and Stephen and his wife Ellen of Garden City. Her grandchildren, Thomas and Andrew Bradbury and Katherine Cleary and her siblings, Terrence, Robert and Gerald Fogarty and Helene Basile also survive her. Her husband of 39 years, Daniel, predeceased her in February of 2002.

A prayer service was conducted at the Powell Funeral Home, Inc., Amityville on April 30, 2006. Rev. Father Richard Stelter, Pastor, St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church officiated at a Mass of Christian Burial assisted by the Consolation Ministry and members of the family followed by interment in Trinity Cemetery, Amityville.
