Carol J. Kuhn was raised in Massapequa Park and stayed in her beloved community to raise her own family. She died June 12, 2006 at the age of 54.

Born in Brooklyn, she moved to the Village at a young age and was a graduate of Massapequa schools. She later worked as a supervisor for the Danaher Manufacturing Company in Ronkonkoma for 21 years.

She enjoyed taking a ride in the family's jeep on the beach, entertaining her family and loved ones, as well as spending time on her son's boat, according to her husband.

Mrs. Kuhn leaves behind her husband of 16 years, William; her children:William Bartolo of Massapequa Park, Tonya Spinelli and her husband Paul of Massapequa Park, Keith Robertson and his wife Jennifer of Sag Harbor, Jessica Novak and her husband Dan of Seaford and Matthew and his wife Crystal of West Babylon; her mother, Dorothy Bartolo; her siblings: Linda Buckley, Eileen Thomas and Paul Bartolo; her grandchildren: Michael, Louis, Raymond and Paul.

She reposed at the Massapequa Funeral Home Inc., 1050 Park Boulevard, Massapequa Park on June 14 and 15, 2006. A religious service was held at the funeral home followed by private burial.
