Public support of church art sale is appreciated

Dear Editor:

The Fourth Fine Arts Exhibit and Sale held at the beginning of May was an opportunity for First Church to offer local artists space to show their creative talents, gave the community the chance to see and admire their work and buy original art at good prices and served as a fundraiser for the Church. It was a success on all levels.

The show drew 33 artists from all over Long Island, the most we have ever hosted. The quality of their talents was remarkable to see. It was a joy to be able to browse the exhibit and soak in the beauty and energy displayed. The artists expressed their gratitude for our hospitality and good-natured volunteers.

The success of this art exhibit is based on the foundation of your generosity.
