St. Rose Hosts Fabulous Festival

St. Rose of Lima School Family Festival proved to be a lot of fun for all those who attended. Newton Shows provided the rides and games. The entertainment ranged from music to assorted skill demonstrations. American Black Belt Academy demonstrated the skills of their students to the amazement of the audience. The community was entertained with a special opera performance sung by Ruth Ann Cunningham, soprano and Lynn Randolph, tenor both from Manhattan. They performed assorted known arias from operas as familiar as La Boheme. Fastpitch Now, Inc. demonstrated fastpitch softball training showcasing all age ranges up to the college level. Hirtin Irish Dancers demonstrated their talents with traditional Irish dancing. Body Language and In Sync were also on hand to demonstrate their skills. Bands and DJs provided the primary entertainment for the evening.

St. Rose of Lima School's zeppoles and funnel cakes did not disappoint.The schools principal, Sr. Kathleen Gallina was on hand to greet the school families, parishioners and guests. Fr. Dan was on the scene visiting with parishioners, community guests and thanking all who he met.
