New Island Hospital, Bethpage, is offering free prostate screening on Saturday, September 9, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the ambulatory surgery area of the hospital. PSA blood tests will be performed by the laboratory staff. A qualified urologist on the medical staff of the hospital will exam those who wish a digital exam.
