Evening of prayer through music at St. Rose of Lima

An evening of prayer through music will be held Saturday, September 16, 7:30 p.m. at the Church of St. Rose of Lima, 2 Bayview Ave., Massapequa. A group of 40 singers and musicians from Queens and Nassau will perform John Rutter's Requiem with conductor Terence Purtell. Also featured will be the contemporary Christian group Voices that Blend and tenor soloist Andrew Koslosky. The concert is free and made possible by a grant from JABEN, USA Inc. through the Josephine foundation.
