Nassau County Legislator Peter J. Schmitt, the Republic Minority Leader of the Legislature, met with members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Locals 1049 and 1381. Schmitt was briefed on the proposed National Grid takeover of Keyspan and the impact of the takeover on rate payers on Long Island.
