MPK Garden Club to meet October 18 Speaker Fran Vecchio, who won a blue ribbon for design at the Hofstra Flower Show this spring, will teach members the fine points of linear design in arranging a bouquet of liatris and chrysanthemums. Participants need to supply a 10-inch by five-inch container and prepay for the flowers to be used.
The meeting will be held in the basement meeting room at Village Hall, 151 Front St., Massapequa park. Dessert and coffee will be served.
