Rebecca Acome to wed Jordan Schmidt

Rebecca Jayne Acome and Jordan Harrison Schmidt, of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts were engaged recently.

Acome is the daughter of Sandra Acome of Roscoe, new York and the late Stephen R. Acome. Schmidt is the son of Walter and Esther Schmidt of Massapequa Park.

Acome was born in Binghamton and was raised in Roscoe, where she graduated from Roscoe Central School in 1997. She graduated from Boston University in 2001 and is currently employed full time at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She is also coincidentally a

student at Simmons student at Simmons College in Boston where she is enrolled in a master's program for nurse practitioner.

Schmidt grew up in Massapequa Park and graduated from Massapequa High School in 1996. He also attended Boston University, graduating in 2000. Currently he is employed by Mathworks, a Natick, Massachusetts software

firm.

A fall 2007 wedding is planned.
