Mitchell Mertz joins Weiser LLP Weiser LLP, of Manhattan, recently announced that Mitchell J. Mertz, CPA, of Massapequa, has joined as partner. Mertz possesses more than 30 years of experience providing accounting services to public and private companies, particularly manufacturers, distributors, service organizations, hedge funds, and mortgage companies. Mertz serves as chairman of the SEC Practice Committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and possesses significant experience with the Securities and Exchange Commission reporting requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
