Massapequa native Adam LoGiudice, senior at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute student athlete

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student athlete Adam LoGiudice has been selected for two Liberty League weekly football awards, the league has announced. A senior, he was chosen as both the Defensive Performer of the Week and the Special Teams Performer of the Week.

A native of Massapequa, LoGiudice has 18 kickoff returns for 523 yards and two touchdowns this season. He has 19 punt returns for 233 yards, including a 22-yard long. As a corner back, he has recorded 23 tackles, including 14 unassisted, in six games. He also has a tackle for lost yards (3), two interceptions (50 return yards), and a sack (3 yards).

In a 42-31 win at Merchant Marine, LoGiudice, a defensive back made a team-high ten tackles, including eight unassisted and a three-yard sack. He broke up one pass and intercepted another which he returned 33 yards for a touchdown. As a return specialist, LoGiudice returned five kicks for 142 yards, including a 96-yard touchdown on the opening kickoff. He also brought back four punts for 42 yards, including a 21-yard long.
