Farmingdale High's Varsity Boys Cross Country team shines at the Wheatley invitational

Varsity Cross Country Coach Peter Macchia's team put in an excellent effort at the Wheatley Invitational. The Class I Varsity race became a showdown between Port Washington High School and Farmingdale High School squads. Farmingdale, led by Joe Morris, sophmore, and Dan Kovler , freshman, defeated Port Washington 30 to 33 with an effort that included Andrew Bosso, senior; Luke Alber, freshman, and Captain Michael Curry, senior, as the fifth man. Places were second, fifth, sixth, eighth and ninth.
