No. Massapequa FD holds Children's Rag-A-Muffin Parade

Faughnan, second from left, commend members of the North Massapequa Fire Department on their efforts in organizing the 32nd annual children's Rag-A-Muffin Costume Parade. This event gives local children a safe and exciting opportunity to enjoy some Halloween fun with their families. Aside from marching in the parade, children had an opportunity to win bicycles and other prizes, and were treated to the first appearance of the season by Santa Claus. After the prizes, participants were invited back

to the fire house to enjoy refreshments. Overseeing the event were North Massapequa Fire Department Chief Gary F. Brosnan, left, and North Massapequa Fire District commissioner George O'Brien, back row, fifth from right. Also on hand, left to right, were Oyster Bay Town Clerk Steve Labriola, back row, third from left; District Court Judge William O'Brien, back row, fourth from left and Nassau County Legislator Peter Schmitt, back row, fifth from left. Ken Chapey, back row, second from right, of Frederick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home Inc., joined with many other local merchants in providing sponsorship support of the event.
