New Island Hospital volunteer appointed President of the Women's Club of Farmingdale

Among her many academic and career accomplishments, Dolores Cianciabella, a former kindergarten teacher in the Farmingdale School District, has volunteered at New Island Hospital since August 1993 in the Community Relations Department where she assists public relations and organization of press releases.
Cianciabella has volunteered her skilled services at Headstart Grandparent Program, Our Lady of Lourdes Church, AARP Farmingdale Chapter and has recently had the honor of being appointed the 46th President of the Women's Club of Farmingdale. This Club was founded by Abigail E. Leonard in 1913 with nineteen original members. The mission of this club is education, philanthropy, civic pride and social enrichment. The Club has awarded scholarships to local high school students, humanitarian awards for arts and music, and works with the Village Board to beautify the town of Farmingdale.
