Plainedge grad in leading role in Gypsy
In her freshman year at Binghamton, she was cast as Fastrada in Pippin and Caitlyn in Canterbury Tales. She was awarded the Nielsen Theater Scholarship by the theater department, a three year scholarship. Henkel is the daughter of Phyllis Silver Henkel and the late Paul Henkel.
