Plainedge 6th Graders explore ancient Egypt

Sixth graders from Plainedge Middle School participated in an interactive presentation of Ancient Egypt and they never left the campus. The students took a “journey” to Egypt using slide shows, DVDs and artifacts. The students visited the Nile River Valley and the famous historical sites including: The Step Pyramid at Saqqara, Pyramids at Giza and King Tut’s Tomb in the Valley of the Kings.

Presented by Michael Harrold, a photographer, writer, educator, raconteur, world-traveler and the creator of Jambo Productions. Jambo Productions conducts presentations that enrich curriculum/standards, motivate and inspire students and provides staff development seminars for teachers.
