Breakers rise to the top

The Massapequa Breakers, a girls under-10 team for the Massapequa Soccer Club recently finished the season with a bang. They finished the season 6-1-1 to become co-champions of the Long Island Junior Soccer Leagues Nassau East Division. They did so with a great second half of the season. In the final four games, they went 4-0 outscoring their opponents 17-1. The team capped its season with a highly competitive hard-fought game against a previously unbeaten, unscored against, Rockville Centre team by beating them 1-0 on the road to take the honor.
