The Harbor Lane Library offers programs on an ongoing basis including aerobics and toning classes, Mondays, 7:30 p.m.; Tournament Scrabble, Mondays, 11 a.m..; Let’s Talk, a discussion group for seniors, Friday, 1 p.m.; strength training classes for seniors, Monday mornings, 10:30 a.m. and Thursdays, 10:30 a.m; Mah Jongg, Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m.; line dancing, Fridays, 10:30 a.m. and Let’s Talk, a discussion group for seniors, Friday, 1 p.m. Contact the library for details. For the month of December paintings by Arlene McLoughlin will be on display in the Downstairs Gallery of the Harbor Lane Library. The Harbor Lane Library together with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 13-12, will be presenting a Basic Boating Safety Course on various dates. There is a materials fee of $50. The Paul Gatto Jazz Band will perform Thursday, December 21, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Songs of yesterday and today will be played for your entertainment. On Thursday, December 21, 7 p.m. Eileen Lichtenstein will hold a Hatha yoga class. Bring a yoga mat or towel and wear comfortable clothing. the fee is $10 per person payable by check to the Farmingdale Public Library.
