Sanitation collection modified for Christmas and New YearÕs

The Town of Oyster Bay sanitation collection schedule will be modified for the Monday, December 25, Christmas holiday, and New Year’s Day, Monday, January 1, 2007, according to Town Councilman Anthony D. Macagnone.

On Monday, December 25, and Monday, January 1, 2007, there will be no sanitation collection. Residents who normally receive sanitation collection on Monday will receive pickup on Tuesday, December 26 and January 2, 2007 while Tuesday customers will receive collection on Wednesday, December 27 and January 3, 2007.

Town offices will be closed on December 26 and January 2, 2007, as well as the afternoons of Friday, December 22 and December 29. He added that there will be normal sanitation and S.O.R.T. recycling collection on both December 22 and December 29.
