Carl Frucht: owner of a Massapequa dental lab

L o n g t i m e Massapequa Park resident, Carl F. Frucht died November 18, 2006. He was 77-years old and ran Carl Frucht Dental Lab in Massapequa for about 25 years.

Born in Richmond Hills, Queens he lived on Von Huenfeld Street in Massapequa Park for more than 50 years.

Mr. Frucht proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War including time aboard the U.S.S. Missouri Battleship. He was a member of The Missouri Association and editor of the L.I. Dental Association Newspaper.

According to his wife, Elizabeth, he loved to play the piano, spend time with his dogs, fish and play golf.

Mr. Frucht leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth; his children: Estelle Zaug and her husband Scott and Richard and his wife Suzanne; his grandchildren: Eric Zaug, Stephen Zaug and Kristen Bird; as well as other loved ones and friends.

He reposed at the Massapequa Funeral Home in Massapequa Park on November 21, 2006 followed by an Episcopal Funeral Mass at the home by St. Mary’s of Amityville. Interment was in Calverton National Cemetery on November 22, 2006.
